I was seeking a storage rack for a rifle when this popped up on the website. I just received the BlackSmith Gun Rack Wall Mount from the BlackSmith Store. Upon examination, it appears to be very strong structurally with the steel. It's advertised to support 40 lbs, which is sufficient for most guns. I really like the black cushioned/rubberized coating that is applied to all the steel. It is not only a protector of your gun finish on metal & wood surfaces, but I don't think the gun rack will ever rust. When you push on the coating, it has a cushion to it, which is very nice.
I don't have a gun safe and wanted a nice way to store my rifles so they are sitting in their cases or lying on a shelf. While the hardware that comes with these to mount them isn't the best (I always use my own screws anyway), the actual holders are nice and durable and work great. This gives a nice, clean, and presentable appearance to my weaponry and keeps them secure and out of the way.
Simple install. Seems to do the trick in holding my guns. I was worried about my scoped rifles, but they stand out enough so that the scopes don't touch the walls. So far, so good.
