Good little gun cabinet especially for small rooms or apartments. If you understand that it's a cabinet and not an actual safe, you won't be disappointed in it. Full size and subcompact firearm fits on the shelf just fine. Keypad has an alarm for motion/vibration and one for improper code attempt which is nice because we all know kids get a little curious sometimes. Safe comes with a backup battery pack in case your keypad, powered by 4 AA batteries, die.
I received this first Gun safe, everything was great about it. IT was well built to keep child/theft away. Will alarm if there present of suspicious activities by slight movement to remind the owner. Alarm is loud enough to be heard, Guns are well protected and store, and secure to keep them safe at all time. I got this because it has tremedous value for a compact gun safe at this typical size for my need. Materials were strong and not easily access by any mean for theft and deter them or for them to break through it. I migh consider getting another one when my collection grew.
