Although a bit intimidated at first by the technology, the customer support tech was marvelous. She went the extra mile to make me feel I was in good hands. She stood there until the product was working satisfactory. As far as product performance, it is too soon to grade the product. If works as advertised it will be a great device to install in your house. Imagine cold temperatures looking for keys to open a frozen lock. With this product no worries.
Installation of this deadbolt is slightly more complicated than a typical deadbolt. If you’ve ever installed a deadbolt before, this one is basically the same except for the addition of a little cable that has to be plugged in from the front piece to the back piece, batteries, and then app setup. Of course, the handle is just like any other handle. Both the lock and handle are of excellent quality and appear very well made. It’s an attractive set and features a black finish.
I love this smart lock. I will post pictures once I get it installed. the quality is amazing and it's totally worth the price for that alone. Once I get it installed I can update how it works and if I have any issues. as of now no complaints it seems like a really good buy. so excited to get installed.
I have another set from this company and these new ones I'm a big fan of the finish. More durable. The lock was an easy install. Maybe 20-30 mins. I also like that this new set connects to Smart Things, which I already use. It's also nice that it already comes with the Gateway.
What a neat function the finger print sensor is. My kids would always lose their keys, which annoyed me so much that I would constantly make copies of my own keys. No more waiting for the door to open till I come home :)
