GM Series Pistol Rack, Large Soft Foam Handgun Organizer

This pistol rack is solid, well-designed, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Each slot easily fits full-size pistols, even with common accessories, and the spacing keeps everything organized without crowding. The reinforced ABS panels and dividers feel sturdy and stable, not flimsy like cheaper racks. I really like the soft EVA foam and dense base, it protects the finish on my pistols and doesn't scratch or scuff anything. The rack feels secure on the shelf and doesn't flex or tip over when adding or removing firearms. The modular design is a big plus too, making it easy to expand as my collection grows. Installation was quick and straightforward with the included rods and screwdriver. Overall, this is a high-quality, well-thought-out storage solution that keeps pistols protected, organized, and easily accessible. Highly recommended for any gun safe or display setup.

I have the 6 pistol rack and needed a few more slots so when this came up I had to get it. These make a great addition to a safe and are really affordable way to get organization in the safe. These fit well in the safe and hold my small to medium frame pistols great, the python not so much. Some FYIs during assembly, do not screw the first screw all the way down on the rod prior to assembly. Only engage about 2 or so threads (enough to hold the screw in there) otherwise it will be to short to get the other screw in once you get it all smashed together. Luckily I remember from my six slot rack so assembly was really quick and easy.

Assembly is super easy and straight forward. Found that if you don't tighten the end screws completely it will allow you enough space to attach both end plates without much force. Once threaded just tighten them down and you're all set! Foam is a bit thicker than expected but work well for full sized frames. Was hoping that it would help free up some space inside the safe but this does take up a bit of shelf space.

It's a solid rack and would be great for a beginner that wants to protect and display their pistols. The side walls are a solid plastic that is thick enough for its intended purpose. The metal rods give confidence that the entire set up won't flex later. The soft foam is thick enough to support and soft enough to protect and not mar your guns. It's lightweight so it won't add much weight to your shelf. It loses a star because the foam is a little too wide so instead of the pistol standing it's just leaning on the side wall making the entire set up look a little sloppy. Even with optic and flashlight mounted on the pistol the space is still too wide. Would recommend for someone with a smaller collection or plenty of room. Once you get to the point where more storage is needed these racks will quickly take up too much space for not much return in the way of storage. The side cut outs make it easy to move the racks even when they are being used without fear of dropping anything. Overall, it's a good quality lightweight product that's reasonable but more importantly that works. I would recommend.

This rack is constructed from very rigid foam, plastic baffles, and metal rods holding it together. It is reasonably durable for its purpose and is very easy to assemble. Each section is very wide and tall, so larger handguns, and even those with extended mags (if you store it that way) will work. This was one of the few racks that was tall enough for my 2011 with extended may to sit pretty. For compact weapons, you can put them in upside down so long as you are not running optics. A good system, I would recommend. The lower rating was due to the useless magnets that would not stay on, no matter where I placed them (disclaimer: picture attached is not what the manufacturer recommends as proper for the magnets).
