How to Set Fingerprint:
Insert 4AA batteries (not included).
Short press "SET" for 1s, hear "beep beep."
Press the fingerprint module with the same finger 4 times. Hear "beep beep" for successful setup.
How to Set Password:
Original password is 123456#.
For Password 1, press "00," short press "SET," enter a 3-12 digit password, confirm by "#."
For Password 2, press "11," short press "SET," enter another 3-12 digit password, confirm by "#."
Emergency Unlock Options:
Emergency Key Unlock:
Slide hold cover to access keyhole.
Insert emergency key, turn clockwise.
Turn handle clockwise to open the safe.
Type-C Emergency Unlock:
Insert Type-C cable into a power supply.
Enter correct fingerprint or password to open the safe.
Restore Factory Settings:
Long press "SET" for 5s. A long "beep" indicates the system has returned to the initial state (fingerprint cleared, password reset to "123456").

We had this safe sent to our grandson and he loved it. He needed one and this was just the right size. Came fully assembled, not sure if he's using the key or the combination. But we know everyone in the house is safe and all locked up. A few months ago, we also purchased the same safe and really liked it for its value, and safety. Yes, I would highly recommend!
First off, the packaging was over the top. Steel protective packing corners. In case you were wondering, it comes completely assembled and arrived in perfect condition. Secondly, if you're looking for a safe to protect a $20,000 gun collection, you might look elsewhere, but if you want a secure cabinet to keep little fingers and all but the most determined thieves away from your weapon, this is worth your consideration.
If you're looking a for cabinet for your guns this is one. it’s not safe but it’s definitely secured and not easy to break in.
Okay, the build quality of the safe is decent for the price. It seems to be sturdy enough, and the finish looks good. However, the metal isn't super thick, so I wouldn't rely on it to deter a determined thief. I’d say it’s more suited for keeping firearms away from children or guests rather than as a high-security vault. Also, do not expect that it will survive fire and protect your belongings inside, as I did not find any mention of a fire-resistance rating. I would call it a gun cabinet rather than a gun safe. It comes with multiple locking mechanisms, including a fingerprint scanner, keypad, and keys. The fingerprint scanner works well, the keypad is straightforward to program, and I appreciate the inclusion of backup keys. There are also some nylon pockets on the door for pistols, which are functional but very basic.
