Just want to start this off by saying I am in love with the size of it. However, setup was a little wonky. I was able to easily set up my fingerprint but when I follow the instructions for setting a #passcode the keypad turns off as soon as I press the button to set my new passcode. As someone else said this safe is not attachment friendly as my AR with the side mounted laser / light combo takes up just about 2 spaces width wise, and will definitely not fit rifles / shotguns that are longer than a typical AR with the self in. I opted to remove the shelf so I could fit my 1938 VZ24. My Carcano sits quite comfortably with the dimensions though! Pistol holders are good but definitely work best with small / medium frame handguns, my TP9 SF Elite fit like a glove, wouldn’t fit much bigger though. All dimension quirks aside, this is a great safe and protects my firearms and ammo while still being easily accessible to me and not accessible to anyone else which is the biggest take away in my opinion.
I love the size of this safe. The fingerprint works fine and has a key backup. If there is any knock on it, It doesnt fit my over under shotgun....Without the shelf, It would probably fit. Also, whipe it does hold a couple rifles and a shogun easily, I find myself carefully placing them inside to fit and get the door to shut. It could be maybe 2 or 3" deeper as its not friendly to rifles with red dots or scopes mounted.
Good cabinet for the money. I was disappointed when I realized that my 12 gauge didn't fit in it, even after I took the shelf out. But I figure that's on me for not looking at the measurements before buying it. Lol. Overall, Im happy with what I was able to get into it.
