Practical at a value.

I choose this safe after much research online. My choice was made based on price, other reviews, and the features of the safe. Price was great, even received a discount on top of the sale plus shipping included. Safe arrived timely and packaged very well for shipping. The safe is more sturdy than I anticipated it to be too. Why only 4 stars? Upon following the setup instructions, the second time I opened the safe with the passcode the lock mechanism stuck in the open position and the door would not secure. There was not any trouble shooting in the instructions for this. Fearing I would have to make a warranty claim on day one I repeated many of the setup steps and tinkered with the safe for a good 10 minutes using the key to try and reset the mechanism. I finally was able to secure the door. So far I have not had any further issues with opening and closing but I still have my concerns about reliability. The fingerprint reader is okay in opinion. We occasionally play the game of invalid read and I plan to register my prints again next chance I get. Lastly this is my bedside safe for two of my pistols. It would be great if the box has any illumination for in the dark to indicate where the safe, keypad, or fingerprint reader was at. Currently I just have to run my hand across the front top ledge till the keypad lights or I find the fingerprint reader. At the end of the day I would most likely choose this safe again if we went back in time. I do like the fit and finish but the quality will be seen in time.

It is actually bigger than I thought. Fits my Glock perfectly with extra space for ammo or even another Glock. I like the 5 different locking/unlocking features makes me feel good about kids not getting into it easily. And I can put it in the drawer. It is very sturdy and the fingerprint is effective. Also, love the locking cord to keep the safe in place. This is absolutely that gift for all your friends or family members who have weapons!
