First, came same day shipping. I wasn't expecting that. The safe: I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy it was. It is large enough to put a single pistol, maybe 2 if they were smaller. It comes with clear instructions and a rechargeable battery. I went ahead and topped the battery off and installed it. Once it was on, a nice little light shows up inside the box to show you what's inside if you are in a dark room. The keypad is easy to use and the igits are easy to see. The fingerprint reader is actually quite quick. They have moved on from those early readers that took forever to recognize the digit. I checked other digits to see if it was really reading my fingerprint and was pleasantly surprised, only the finger I programmed would allow it to open. I'm sure the lock picking lawyer would be in this thing in less than 10 seconds with a magnet and some chewing gum, but for the rest of us normies, this seems pretty secure and would not be the easiest thing to open without being destructive.

The rack arrived completely disassembled, but they even had the forethought to provide a small screwdriver for assembly. I didn't want the screws to come loose, so I put some thread locker on them. It didn't take long to get the rack together, and everything went together quite easily, even with the provided screwdriver. I love the extra space it provides me in my safe and gives me greater organization.

This is a nice pistol rack for your safe or any place you need to stack handguns while protecting their finish. It is wide enough to easily handle double-stack 45/10mm without complaint, and my smaller single stacks fit just fine. Some gun shapes (Ruger Mark IV), especially those with grips that are not flat on the bottom, will lean on the plastic dividers. Other than that quibble, it's light and works as advertised.

This comes unassembled, and the parts consist of 3 rods, the dividers, and hard foam pucks. Assembly was a snap. You start by putting screws & washers into the rods through your first divider, then slide the foam pucks and plastic dividers in alternating fashion until you are finished. The final step is to put your screws and washers into the rods and tighten the whole thing down. Easy. Works and I like it.

This pistol rack is very easy to assemble and use. I got the 8 slot version. It comes with three aluminum rods that are threaded on both ends. You build it by stacking the foam spacers and plastic dividers. You can stack more than one foam spacer together to create a wider slot. Once it's assembled, it works great. Mine ended up being too wide for the bottom of my safe, which is split into two halves by a divider. I ended up cutting the aluminum rod to create separate five-slot and three-slot racks for each half of the safe.

I’m sure you could easily pry it open but I have a full size gun safe to protect items from theft. I purchased this to keep kid fingers off my home protection. All locking mechanisms have worked fine for me so no complaints there. Again this isn’t going to keep a burglar out so if that’s your intention look elsewhere. It will keep the kiddos safe though and it’s slim enough to fit in my night stand so for my intended purpose it works great.

I got this to store semi-valuables that I need quick access to. I was blown away by the heft and cool way it smoothly opens on fingerprint. Plenty of room for arms, magazines, and valuables.Using it is a breeze. Put finger on and it's opening smoothly on its own, with a light on the interior. Click closed when done. Easy to add fingerprints. Recognition worked reliably and no false positives for unauthorized fingers. Code entry is easy, and the keys work smoothly. Allows clearing all fingerprints. I like the various backups it has (Fingerprint, unlock code, backup USB power, physical keys).This safe is clearly intended to prevent casual access or theft by people you have in the house while you're there, not to thwart thieves at your house while you're gone. A house guest would have to either get it open, or defeat the security cable and/or screw mounting and carry the heavy unit out unseen.Given it's not a high security safe, the security cable and screws are entirely adequate. The thumbscrew on the cable can be tightened well, and I couldn't get it to loosen from the outside.Build quality is excellent. It's made of a heavy steel frame that covers all 6 sides (I verified with pen metal detector). Left and right sides have plastic covers for bump protection.

My husband feels safer knowing with protection and having both a toddler and a teenager in the house, I feel significantly better knowing that the ONLY person able to open this is my husband. We've tested it extensively, and the fingerprint reader is accurate. Really, all of the other features are just bells and whistles as far as I'm concerned, but my husband thinks they're cool.

This security-safe box is pretty easy to set up. I really like that they include a cable so that it can be stored under a vehicle seat.The foam padding is nice, as is the light.Setting the code and fingerprints went smoothly. Your code can be anywhere from 4 to 10 digits long.

I was looking forward a bedside gun locker for my home defense weapons, since I have two children in the house. I used to keep them in the top of the closet which is too far away in case of immediate needs. I was a skeptical of this case since it was such a great price. But the 5 star reviews gave me the incentive to give it a go. I first opened the box and felt the weight of it. It’s solid folks—more than I expected. I was quite content with the quality of the steel. Next step was to install batteries and set a code/fingerprints. Worked perfectly. I’ve seen some folks had issues with the fingerprint reader. I have to assume, they have never used a fingerprint reader and don’t know how to slightly adjust your finger side-to-side and front-to-back during the programming process. I did ALL of my fingers, since I do a lot of manual work and my fingers get damaged from cuts and abrasions. With the exception of one of my fingers (which I cut the tip off of—cooking accident) this box works perfectly with all of my other fingers. I’ve had it over a week and have tested it many times nightly. I tried my fingers up-side-down and 90 degrees (as if I was laying in bed). The reader has worked 100% of the time. I had the wife and kids try their fingers. No open. I absolutely love this unit—especially for the price. Seriously? The foam is perfectly adequate and on all sides of the safe. I keep my .40/410 Judge revolver and my wife’s SP101 .357 in it (and a large desiccant pack for moisture). I’m a 1st Special Operations veteran with a lot of weapon experience and training. This is the best gun safety purchase I have ever made. 5 thumbs up.

This safe is so cool... The lighting effect when opening feels so premium and looks so good. I'm shocked how great and high quality this box is, not to mention, it's very, VERY heavy for it's size. It's incredibly heavy duty. The safe comes with very clear instructions on how the safe operates and how it's powered in case the 4 AAA batteries (which come included) run out of power. The safe is also USB-C powered and only requires a tiny bit of power to operate if it does happen to run out of battery, so it can be powered via power bank or battery pack. The safe is incredibly easy to reprogram and you can easily set a new fingerprint and new password via the SET button inside the safe.The safe's response time is incredibly fast as if a person were in a dangerous situation and needed to get their gun out of the safe, it's near instantaneous; either put in the 4-6 digit passcode and press the lock key and it flips open, or press your fingerprint and it opens in under half a second. Inside the safe is a padded surface (that can be removed) which makes the safe feel very premium and brings it over the top against the competition. This is perfect for storing valuable items and/or keys. Amazing product!

High enough quality that I ordered a second one. Bottom line up front: solid, reliable, and easy to program. The fingerprint reader holds enough prints for all of my and my wife's fingers. When I programmed the fingerprints it's smart enough. I don't think it will read them sideways because I don't think it will scan enough to get a read, but I keep forgetting to test that theory. The safe itself is solid and well built. The keypad is responsive, although with the finger sensor I doubt it would get used much. The charger clearly indicates when it's done recharging the batteries, and it does come with a pair of keys in case your battery goes dead. I have no idea yet how long batteries last as I've had mine about a month but haven't had a low battery yet. I also can't speak to whether or not it will give some warning chirp or flash the keypad when the batteries get low as I haven't killed the batteries yet. When they do die, I will try to remember to update this review, but reality says I'll likely forget.

I had been looking for a small gun safe for awhile. Saw this during prime days and decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. Fits my handgun perfectly. Fingerprint entry works great. Fits in the drawer I wanted to keep it in. Only negative is I would prefer a way to secure it to something.

Received this from my kids for Christmas and couldn’t be any happier!! Looks great and easy to install!! Only problem is now I need more!!

This has been a great option for my firearm storage, I really like the fingerprint entry, it's super quick and easy and it's nice knowing I can still open it with a code or key. The inside has a small alarm that goes off if there is major vibration or incorrect entries.Overall I'm pretty stoked on it especially for the value!
