Set up a little tricky. But the quality is nice. I added a kayak handle to the top and different foam.

This gun safe was very easy to program. I was a little hesitant because some of the reviews said that the fingerprint did not program correctly but my wife’s fingerprint and mine programed on the very first try and so did the keypad code. Very clear instructions and easy to mount. I love all of the features and options! I’m sure I will enjoy it for years to come! Great value for the money.

I got this to store semi-valuables that I need quick access to. I was blown away by the heft and cool way it smoothly opens on fingerprint. Plenty of room for arms, magazines, and valuables.Using it is a breeze. Put finger on and it's opening smoothly on its own, with a light on the interior. Click closed when done. Easy to add fingerprints. Recognition worked reliably and no false positives for unauthorized fingers. Code entry is easy, and the keys work smoothly. Allows clearing all fingerprints. I like the various backups it has (Fingerprint, unlock code, backup USB power, physical keys).This safe is clearly intended to prevent casual access or theft by people you have in the house while you're there, not to thwart thieves at your house while you're gone. A house guest would have to either get it open, or defeat the security cable and/or screw mounting and carry the heavy unit out unseen.Given it's not a high security safe, the security cable and screws are entirely adequate. The thumbscrew on the cable can be tightened well, and I couldn't get it to loosen from the outside.Build quality is excellent. It's made of a heavy steel frame that covers all 6 sides (I verified with pen metal detector). Left and right sides have plastic covers for bump protection.

This safe is so cool... The lighting effect when opening feels so premium and looks so good. I'm shocked how great and high quality this box is, not to mention, it's very, VERY heavy for it's size. It's incredibly heavy duty. The safe comes with very clear instructions on how the safe operates and how it's powered in case the 4 AAA batteries (which come included) run out of power. The safe is also USB-C powered and only requires a tiny bit of power to operate if it does happen to run out of battery, so it can be powered via power bank or battery pack. The safe is incredibly easy to reprogram and you can easily set a new fingerprint and new password via the SET button inside the safe.The safe's response time is incredibly fast as if a person were in a dangerous situation and needed to get their gun out of the safe, it's near instantaneous; either put in the 4-6 digit passcode and press the lock key and it flips open, or press your fingerprint and it opens in under half a second. Inside the safe is a padded surface (that can be removed) which makes the safe feel very premium and brings it over the top against the competition. This is perfect for storing valuable items and/or keys. Amazing product!

This security-safe box is pretty easy to set up. I really like that they include a cable so that it can be stored under a vehicle seat.The foam padding is nice, as is the light.Setting the code and fingerprints went smoothly. Your code can be anywhere from 4 to 10 digits long.

Was just looking for a basic fingerprint/ pad lock to store my gun in a Vehicle if necessary. Fingerprint is responsive. The number buttons are large and bright. Great deal for $60. If theres anything to gripe about, i wish the closing mechanism was little softer.

Arrives nicely bubble wrapped with reasonable instructions. The instructions are hardly needed; the assembly was easy and took less than 30 minutes. Has only one screw size and comes with the needed Allen wrench for assembly. The top rail can be set at various heights; for my rifles, the top position worked best. It has enough back room to accommodate rifles with tall sights and small scopes. The top rail, where the barrels touch, and the bottom rail have a velvet-like covering, which is a nice but unnecessary extra. It is sturdy. Overall, a very nice budget rack.

Inside the box, you'll find your owner's manual and a set of keys for access, useful if you run out of battery, forget your password, or encounter issues with your fingerprints. Also included are the batteries, which I've found are not normally provided with other pistol safes. Additionally, it includes screws, wall anchors for mounting to a sheetrock surface, and a USB power cord for battery backup.

Simple install. Seems to do the trick in holding my guns. I was worried about my scoped rifles, but they stand out enough so that the scopes don't touch the walls. So far, so good.

Got this to keep my valuables safe. I like the biometric safety feature - the box can store up to 50 different fingerprints. If you don't want to use your fingerprint, there is a 10-digit keypad where you can make up your own code. Additionally, there are also 2 keys.

The alarm is a nice touch. It is activated by multiple failed attempts to access the box or if it's violently shaken/vibrated. The hinges are tucked inside the box, enhancing its security. It is similar in size to the safes you see in hotels. Convenient item to have.

This has been a great option for my firearm storage, I really like the fingerprint entry, it's super quick and easy and it's nice knowing I can still open it with a code or key. The inside has a small alarm that goes off if there is major vibration or incorrect entries.Overall I'm pretty stoked on it especially for the value!

I think it's pretty neat that they included features to prevent theft or accidents like tipping over on kids. While I have another safe that cost about 2000 bucks and is much better made, please don't compare this one to that. Considering the price, I believe it's a quality product, and I appreciate how easy it was to set up.

It does what it's supposed to do and is pretty good at it, has plenty of storage space and the rapid access is nice to have rather than a traditional lock and key or combination alone. Would buy again.

Taking an in-depth close-up look at this Blacksmith 5-gun safe, we have our dial, though its purpose remains a mystery, and a USB-C for backup power, a cool feature. There's also a hidden key backup and, of course, the handle for quick access with fingerprints. Moving top-down, inside the safe, I've stored a Sig P250 and a Glock 19 pistol with ease.
